As we all know, Thigh Highs have been one of the greatest hosiery fashion trends in 2010. We have seen them on the runways of major fashion shows, on the streets of local communities, and in every fashion magazine. Based on the latest trend forecast, this fun fashion accessory will continue into 2011. Yeah! The Solid Opaque Thigh Highs are so much fun because they work so well with knee high boots or layered with shorter boots like Uggs that seem to be getting us through yet another cold season.
Thigh Highs can be sexy, comfortable, warm, and fashionable at the same time.
As I pour through fashion magazines and watch all of the beautiful models on television, I longingly admire their tiny waists and long leggy looks. Although most of us don’t live on carrots and lettuce and aren’t six feet tall, there are some fashion tricks that the professionals use to achieve the long leggy look.
At Chico’s they call it “column” dressing. That is, dressing in monochromatic colors from head to toe. You match your top to your pants or skirt and then match your tights to the rest of the outfit. It creates a continuous column of color, and interest is added through using different textures and great scarves and jewelry. And you don’t stop there.
There is nothing more comforting than a fuzzy pair of warm socks.
Putting on a pair of them for a winter walk, or just lounging around will make your feet feel amazing.
Do you struggle with deciding what to give as a thoughtful, fun gift for a friend or family member? Did you know that socks are a perfect gift? Why? Because…..
- Socks always fit
- Socks are useful
- Socks are pampering and comforting
- Socks are fun
- Socks are easy to send to someone
- Socks are personal and soft

When a friend was recently in the hospital, her feet were always cold so she wore a pair of the socks provided by the hospital, However, when I gave her a pair of our pink Microfiber Fuzzy Socks, she said it was the best comforting gift she got.
Why are stripes so amazing?
Because they are so clean, simple, yet versatile.
They blend well with all textures and patterns and can be the focal point or an accent. Stripes are just cool. Whether in the home or on the runway, stripes are always is style.
We hope that you will add some stripes from FT to your wardrobe this season!

The word on Merino wool…
Who wouldn’t love the new merino wool tights just introduced by Foot Traffic?! When we felt the yarn and learned about the wonderful attributes of merino wool, we were sold and knew that you would be too.
No, our tights are not hot and they do not itch like other wools.
Merino wool rates near the top of the list of most cherished woolen fibers and is famous for being light in weight with astounding insulating properties, yet not hot.
